Dr Lu Zhiyin graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2009. She had then served as a Dental Officer for the Ministry of Health Holdings, gaining invaluable experience through clinical postings at various institutions.
She subsequently completed her 3-year Basic Specialist Training in Periodontology at the University of Hong Kong. While she was there, she had the coveted opportunity to train surgically under the internationally-acclaimed then Program Director Professor Maurizio Tonetti, and was awarded Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology with Distinction, alongside The Hong Kong Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry Award (2016-2017).
Thereafter, upon returning to Singapore, Dr Lu served as part of the multi-disciplinary clinical team of a private hospital, where she was also involved in the education of dentists by giving Periodontology-themed lectures and providing hands-on training in workshops.
